“As a covenant people, it behooves us to proclaim what God hath bestowed upon His people and our thankfulness for it. But some of our people have lost the spirit of thanksgiving because America is in the worst mess it has ever been in. However, that merely shows us that God’s Word is true and that He curses as well as blesses the nation founded on ‘divine destiny.’ Are we that much different than the Pilgrims? In spite of all the challenges before us, we should not lose sight of the cause and effect of our national plight.
