Speak of the Devil

by Pastor Mark Downey

Have you ever lost something and turned your place upside down trying to find it? And then in futility gave up, only finding it a minute later. Of course, it's the last place you would think to look. Have you ever looked for something in the Bible and opened it to the exact page where it was? Sometimes we cannot find something without God's help, although it is the glory of God to conceal a thing (Prov. 25:2). Likewise, it is the honor of kings to search out a matter.

I'd like to address two issues which are strangely interrelated. The first is the lost sheep of the house of Israel and the other is the supernatural. The latter subject conjures up all sorts of paranormal manifestations, but the truth is: there is only one source for all realities, whether it's walking on water or UFO's. As we take a glance at the history of the White race, we can notice a plethora of cultural mythologies and chronic superstitions.

Suppose Satan is Real

By Pastor Mark Downey

Part 1:  Suppose Satan is Real; What Difference Does it Make?  Indulging in the hypothesis of a personified supernatural incarnation of the devil leads to contradictions and chaos of scriptures.

Part 2:  What if Satan Isn't real? Can Christianity Survive?  Entertaining the idea that other people are our adversaries in life, not silly manifestations of cosmic evil, will go a long way in preserving True Christianity.

The Meaning of Life

by Pastor Mark Downey

Scripture Reading:  1 Corinthians 1:25-31

This sermon is a continuation of a previous message, which I won’t get into today, that dealt with economics and the biblical tithe.  This theme ‘the meaning of life’ was originally inspired during the Bush administration and the observation of leadership or the lack thereof in government; and the status of leaders within the Christian Identity movement was examined.  We’ve all heard about ‘spiritual warfare’ and it sure does affect our body politic and the perception of the meaning of life.  As I said in the first sermon, “The purpose of our lives is to live in and for the glory and service of God.”  That’s it in a nutshell.  It’s not an especially profound message, but it does carry an important thought that seems to be slipping away from Christendom.  It does have profound consequences if ignored.  After his recent trip to England, a pastor friend of ours reported that very few members of the church he attended in London were less than 70 years of age.  Not too many young folks.

But that shouldn’t surprise us as we witness the great and increasing apostasy surrounding our lives.  It’s everywhere.  The world is not getting more Christian and Christians are not getting any younger.  But, I’d say that Christian Israel is making steady gains in facing the spiritual warfare that we simply can’t ignore.  In fact, it’s a great time in history for the harvest of souls for Christ.

Antichrists: Lounge Lizards of Churchianity

by Pastor Mark Downey

I recently had the pleasure of using the word 'antichrist' and was surprised by the backlash of knee-jerk reactions coupled with a lack of appreciation for biblical intent. Most adherents of Christian Identity are not fooled by the eschatology of novocain theology, such as the Rapture and its subsequent terms of endearment like the Great Tribulation and the Antichrist; meaning, of course, some future individual World Dictator as the incarnation of Satan, whose purpose would be to kill the saints of Christ through all the supernatural powers of evil at his disposal. There are variations of what constitutes this Antichrist, depending upon what denominational baggage each church carries.

Identity maintains its position along with the contention of the Protestant Reformation, that the antichrist of scripture was not one man, but a mighty system or organization of men animated by one spirit or motivation. The scriptures give a clear, uncluttered definition of antichrist as anyone who rejects the deity of Christ. Because the word antichrist has become such a buzzword, it could just as well be called anti-messiah, anti-anointed without all the emotional preconditioning.

The Antichrist Mass

by Pastor Mark Downey

Christmas or Christ mass has no place in Christian Identity if we are to continue this movement of God to properly identify who’s who and what’s what. The universalist Catholic mass has no foundation to Christianity. Therefore, the interposition of Christ into the mass is unfounded. Catholicism has a greater affinity with Babylon than Christianity. If the historic Jesus never had any connection to the man made holy day, then the only conclusion that can be made is that it is “another Jesus” (II Cor. 11:14), a vicarious artificial fraud, which qualifies as an antichrist.

The Seven Times Punishment

by Pastor Mark Downey

Today we're going to look at God's Law of chastisement, prophetically, as it pertains to the White race and the USA. If we ask the question: what happened to the northern house of Israel, who were rooted up from Samaria and deported into Assyrian captivity, we find some answers in the expression 'seven times'.

We not only find the fulfillment of prophecy, but an explanation as to what happened to the tribes of Israel after their Assyrian bondage. God removed from His sight and divorced Israel because they broke the covenant. This was the beginning of Israel being lost, with the birthright blessings being withheld for a period of time known as 'seven times punishment'.

America’s Black Holy Day

by Pastor Mark Downey

One person’s dream can be another man’s nightmare. A dream is like a movie in our head when we’re sleeping. A nightmare is like a horror movie in our head when we’re sleeping. America has been lulled into a very deep sleep with the help of movies. Our dreams have been the product of a vicious cycle of life imitating art and a recycling of art imitating life.

Do you remember the movie ‘Roots’, that gave the descendants of African slaves an exaggerated status of nobility, that ‘black is beautiful’, while at the same time, social engineers were scheming against the descendants of the founding fathers to make us slaves and dregs of their New Society.

Today, I want to talk about a third idol in the trinity of high holy days that have become the politically correct norm in Orwellian America. The Big 3 that has become the Big Lie is Halloween, Christmas and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Sabbath

by Pastor Mark Downey

A question which agitates the Christian Identity community is: what day is the Sabbath? Some say Sunday is based on sun worship, while others say Saturday derives from Saturn. So begins long, drawn out controversies of pagan origins vs. "Thus sayeth the LORD." The point of the Sabbath is missed by the arguers, good Christians that they may be. I believe this issue has been used as a wedge to sow discord among the brethren. We had a guest visit our church once, a libertarian CI, who never came back, not because of lack of fellowship or worship, but because he was adamant about Saturday being the day.

We observe Sunday, not as a matter of dogmatic doctrine, but because it has been the traditional day for a long, long time. "The children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe throughout their generations, for it is a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel" Ex. 31:16.

Being a Member

by Pastor Mark Downey

Scripture Reading:  I Corinthians 12:12-18

I get emails all the time from people wanting to know where they can go to a Christian Identity church in their area.  Unfortunately, there just aren’t that many around the country for people to go to.  We’re not in the yellow pages.  I think there’s probably quite a few home groups spread around, but they have wisely remained underground.  And that’s what I suggest for those looking; start your own Bible study group and Lord willing it will grow into a fellowship.

It took me years to find a non-judeo church, which was actually a group of tax protesters with a semi-retired pastor; and it took me another year to convince him about the racial identity of the White race in the Bible.  There are some ‘lone wolves’ that don’t want you to join anything.  But, I believe God wired us in such a way that we have an innate desire to belong to something, because most people don’t like to be alone.  We can’t all be hermits if our culture and civilization, indeed the Kingdom of God, is to advance forward.

In His Service vs. Lip Service

by Pastor Mark Downey

Scripture Reading: Mark 7:1-9

The populist cry of the American Revolution was "Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God."  Fast forward to the present time and we can witness a complete reversal. Treason within church and state has become as commonly accepted as watching TV.  Both ironically call good evil and evil good. Resistance to God is obedience to tyrants. Too many of our people have lost the Spirit of '76 in standing up against evil and the church world doesn't know how or even why it should obey God.  They don't know what to obey.  Thomas Jefferson said, “I prefer dangerous freedom to peaceful slavery.”  Orwell picked up on that idea in his mythical totalitarian state, whereby freedom is slavery, war is peace and ignorance is strength.  The thing is it’s not a myth anymore.

The mind-numbing process to substitute God's sovereignty with pious paganism or self indulgent morality is in plain view.  In fact, the adversarial facade of a vicarious manifestation of Christianity can be too obvious for most people to detect.  Audacity is taken to extreme limits.  All that is seen is the whited sepulcher and not the soup of vile remains inside.  The Big Lie grows exponentially.

Christian Ear Piercing; The Door of Opportunity

by Pastor Mark Downey

Before you jump to any conclusions, let me preface the start of this message by saying that some of my pet peeves are backward baseball caps, White people speaking ebonics and men with pierced ears. This latter fad began with homosexuals and was then popularized by the antichrist MTV 'I want to be like a negro' crowd (unless you’re Michael Jackson). It's decayed into even more primitive body mutilations with lips, noses and eyebrows.  Unfortunately, it has become a cultural norm and symbolic of politically correct rebellion, which should not be confused with a godly resistance to Babylonian conformity.  “Be ye not conformed to the world” Romans 12:2.  Rebellion, we know, is likened to witchcraft.

What I want to look at today is the mentality or spirit of a slave and how that relates to opportunity.

Kingdom Slavery

by Pastor Mark Downey

Are you free? I know that's a rather subjective question. 'Are you free compared to what?' some may ask. Patriotic circles have been discussing freedom for a long time. Sometimes it swirls down the drain of philosophical overkill. Social security numbers may be rescinded or your land may have allodial title, but are you free from the world at large? Sad to say, no man is an island in Mystery Babylon, although we can and should give it our best shot. That's what Remnants do.

Adam and Eve lost the perfect life of Paradise, being tempted to play God, by having the knowledge of good and evil; like a child touching a burner to see if it's hot. The Garden of Eden experience could be interpreted to mean that now we know the difference between freedom and slavery.

Hearing Aids for Idolaters

by Pastor Mark Downey

Ferrar Fenton renders Mt. 7:13-14 like this, “Enter through the gate; because the gate is wide, and the road well paved, that leads to destruction; and through it the majority go.  How narrow the gate and difficult the path, that leads to life!  And they are few who find it.”  I’d like to continue with the theme of the voice of God, because so few of our people are hearing it today.  The Bible says there’s some things that are hard to understand (II Peter 3:16), not just for those who are ignorant or unstable, but who have hardened hearts.  Hearing the voice of God is a gift for obeying instructions.  So it only makes sense that the more we comply with our instruction manual, the more blessed we become in understanding how things work.

The Voice of God

by Pastor Mark Downey

Many international shortwave radio broadcasts are called ‘the voice of…’ this or that country and their signal targets a select area of the world.  It usually has a special message for the intended audience, a target market.  The Voice of America represents the government of the United States and can be anything from light entertainment to heavy political propaganda.  Shortwave reception is always fluctuating depending on the atmospheric conditions and sometimes enemy jamming.  The larger voices of shortwave radio transmit their programs through the air in many different languages.  For example, they can target South America in Spanish.  I think this is a good analogy for how we tune into the voice of God.

First, we have to turn on the radio of our minds.  “And be ye not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2.  And then we turn to the right frequency.  Sometimes you have to adjust the dial because it drifts.

Home of the Brave

by Pastor Mark Downey

At the end of this common refrain sung at ball games, there erupts a burst of hooting and hollering as if the angels of heaven were cheering in unspeakable joy for the conviction of one more soul given to Christ. Why should there be a home for the brave? What does that mean? Well, it shouldn’t mean ‘let the games begin’ as if one were in a Roman coliseum feeding the Christians to the lions in a time of ‘bread and circuses’, self indulgence and apostasy.

There is a deeper spiritual meaning for the brave seeking a place they can call home.

A Time To Kill

By Pastor Mark Downey

The reason I selected Ezekiel 3:17-24 for today’s Scripture reading for this subject is to warn the wicked, those who have misappropriated the Word of God for the justification of ungodly acts that result in the loss of life.  It is never a time to kill if there is no divine sanction.  We call that murder and we’ve been discussing murderers for the last couple of weeks.  God’s resolution for homicide is not a life sentence in prison, not plea bargaining, not extradition, not counseling and therapy.  It is death.  It is the only principle of law of ‘eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth’, or to boil it down to the law of like for like, that without it, would utterly destroy the peace of society, sowing the seeds of discord, hatred and revenge.  It is the law of retaliation as prescribed by God.  In other words, we must convincingly establish the axiom that crime does not pay.  Sin is the transgression of the Law and the wages of sin is death
